MIT’s IAP

MITbeaver

Boston can get pretty sleepy during January.  But, leave it to MIT to wake up your senses.  Now running for over 40 years, MIT’s Independent Activities Period (IAP) is a special four-week term of unique classes & activities, open to the MIT community (students, staff & alumni).

The schedule is organized by for-credit activities and not-for-credit activities.  The hundred’s of not-for-credit activities range from the Hummus Experience, plenty of opportunities to play quidditch, learning a foreign language and game nights.
