Boston can get pretty sleepy during January. But, leave it to MIT to wake up your senses. Now running for over 40 years, MIT’s Independent Activities Period (IAP) is a special four-week term of unique classes & activities, open to the MIT community (students, staff & alumni).
The schedule is organized by for-credit activities and not-for-credit activities. The hundred’s of not-for-credit activities range from the Hummus Experience, plenty of opportunities to play quidditch, learning a foreign language and game nights.Posted on January 9th, 2013 by theKnurd.
